With a strong presence in the local area, our clients, an independent Estate & Lettings Agency, is now seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator / Credit Controller to join the team at their busy Darlington office.
This fast paced, exciting and ever evolving role involves:
•Ensuring rent is collected in full and on time from the company’s portfolio of tenants
•Ensuring the company’s day to day invoices are paid in full and on time
•Telephone based debt recovery in order to settle overdue accounts
•Following company guidelines and standard procedures, issuing formal letters and notices on overdue invoices
•Generating new invoices
•General office administration as and when required
•Being part of an enthusiastic and driven team, working towards common goals.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller, preferably with experience of working in the residential lettings sector.
You must have:
•Experience of Credit Control and Debt Recovery
•A good working knowledge of accounts based CRM systems
•A confident telephone manner
•Experience of working in residential lettings is preferred, but not essential
•The ability to work independently and be highly self-motivated.
•Have high energy levels and the drive and determination to succeed.
•Be highly organised with good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
•A keen eye for detail.
•A willingness to go the extra mile.
