This is a fantastic opportunity for a property manager to join one of the largest landlords in the UK. Our client are a national homebuilder and landlord who own and manage £1.8 billion of residential property globally. They are looking for an experienced residential property manager to join their central London team working on a super high end residential portfolio. The portfolio is a mixture of AST tenancies and Commercial properties along a few large blocks of unbroken flats and a few regulated tenancy houses.
This Assistant Property Management position gives the successful candidate scope to advise on strategy in terms of improving the performance of the portfolio including disposals, renovations, acquisitions and overall management of assets.

The successful Assistant property manager will:
Assist the Property Manager with the management of an allocated portfolio, which includes a variety of tenures - including Assured Shorthold Tenancies, Regulated & Assureds together with Life Tenancy inspections where appropriate.
Work with internal and external Asset Management Clients to provide an agreed Service Level Agreement.
Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance
Delivery of performance based targets for specific portfolios under management as agreed with each client/fund.
Liaising with agents for re-letting, optimising rents and property values, monitoring voids/arrears etc. including working with Lettings team to minimise rent loss
Working with budgets to ensure management of funds and maximising returns.
Property inspection and tenant liaison duties

Have an understanding of Regulated Tenancies and the relevant legislation.
The successful Assistant property manager will have:
At least 6 months experience working in the residential property industry as a Property Manager
Intermediate level ability in Microsoft office packages
Ability to work to tight deadline
Good time management and organisational skills.
Ideally be ARLA, NFOPP qualified.
Salary up to £28k for the right person.
