Our client is a leading independent international property consultancy based in the UK who offer agency and professional advice across Commercial, Residential and Rural sectors. With over 100 years of proven consultancy experience across the globe.
They are now seeking a candidate for the role of Senior Project Manager / Associate to assist their London-based Project Management team in managing fit-out, refurbishment and new build projects. The Project & Building Consultancy undertake a range of projects, both New Build and the modification of existing buildings, with projects up to to 400,000ft2. The main focus is on office interior fit-outs and the typical project size for the successful candidate will be between 15,000ft2 to 50,000ft2 .
Taking the lead PM role on projects supported by junior staff and consultants.
Taking part in and leading pitches to Clients.
Management of external consultants, including architects and engineers; this will include arranging and preparing meetings and taking minutes for project meetings.
Administration of construction projects and contracts.
Writing monthly reports on progress of the project (experience of working with MS Word is essential)
Professional Experience and Personal Skills Profile
A BSc degree (in a relevant subject such as Building Surveying)
Over two years PQE - MRICS or equivalent
Strong attention to detail
An understanding or Architecture, interior design and workplace would be beneficial
An understanding of Prince2 would be beneficial
Be flexible and able to balance a variety of demands
Salary between £50,000 - £60,000 and up to 20% bonus
