A large Central London family owned estate with deep historical connections which is firmly rooted to the local community. They are currently looking for a Client Side Chartered Building Surveyor with ideally two years PQE to work alongside the projects department.
Roles & Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:
The successful Client Side Chartered Building Surveyor will work within a small team of building surveyors reporting in to the Director of Projects Department with their main responsibilities revolving around managing a range of developments, planned maintenance schemes and refurbishments across the estates four sectors.
The role will also include identifying development opportunities, specification writing, contract administration and project management to achieve a high stand of work on a range of projects valuing between £250k and £3million.
The estate will also expect the building surveyor to prepare outline designs and cost plans with the ability to report development proposals.
- Chartered Building Surveyor with ideally two years PQE
- Proven track record of leading consultancy teams
- A commercial approach
- Background knowledge of building and construction
- Experience in carrying out surveys and defect diagnosis
- Worked with listed buildings
- Salary: £50k - £60k
