One of London's leading Residential Developers are looking to add a Chartered Building Surveyor to their core team.
A well established and exciting London based property developer with a prestigious, high end residential and commercial portfolio are looking to add a Building Surveyor, preferably Chartered, to their growing team. This developer has a wide range of properties under ownership and management throughout London, with Residential buildings and business units as well as various retail units, nurseries and wine bars.
Working closely with the in-house property management, property maintenance, development director and managing director, you will have sole responsibility for all building surveying duties undertaken by the company. These will include (but not restricted to) planned maintenance works, scheduling for all refurbishment, defect diagnosis, budgeting for all works undertaken, external consultancy and contractor liaison, end of term dilapidation surveys and pre acquisition surveys.
The chosen candidate will be preferably Chartered although not essential, have a strong background in both private sector commercial and residential building surveying. This role would be an excellent fit for a candidate with experience in a similar client side building surveying position or someone who is wanting to make the switch over from consultancy. A candidate with an understanding and passion for older London residential buildings, including listed buildings, as well as their upkeep within would be at a distinct advantage.
Salary - £55,000 - £80,000
