Client-side Project Manager: Residential Developer

Experienced Project Manager sought for an exceptional client-side opportunity. Based in Marble Arch, our client, the PRS-development arm of a reputable and well-established Private Equity Real Estate Investor/Developer, seeks an accomplished, academic and driven Project Manager to bring their innovative and unique product - high-spec 'build-to-rent' accommodation - to the market.

The role will focus around the delivery of sites in London and its immediate environs - chiefly within comfortable commuting distance of C. London - as well as a number of other, farther flung, sites throughout the UK. Ultimately, our client seeks to service the nationwide appetite for this product, establishing themselves as pre-eminent in this area of the market.

Their service platform is constantly diversifying and they have the benefit of 30 years of market expertise to draw on. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

- a minimum of 5 years' experience in Construction Project Management

- degree-level education in Construction/Engineering/Architecture

- extensive exposure to large scale, mixed-use, residentially-led developments

- proven track-record of overseeing several projects simultaneously without jeopardising on quality

- familiarity with typical project software

- highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

- the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, as required

The remit of the successful candidate will comprise the following:

- ultimate responsibility for project delivery, from design phase through to completion and beyond (post-completion processes and snagging)

- overarching control of project budget and all elements of post-control to ensure project completion on/under budget

- oversight of project legals: handling appointments, warranties, main contracts, disputes and litigation

- procurement of all construction works including: main contracts, enabling works, major packages, finishing works and specialist trades

- Clearly representing the client communications to the project team and ensuring strong communications are established and maintained

- Coordinating due diligence information collation for portfolio and or property disposals

- Assisting the Acquisitions team in carrying out due diligence

- Preparing project progress reports for funders and investors

- Supporting the Operations and Asset management teams

- Effectively collating and issuing all relevant project information to the team

- Schedule meetings and coordinate with attendees

- Update calendar for Project Management and Development activities

- Prepare agendas for project meetings and take minutes if required

- Change order management

- Budget management - margin and revenue maintained

- Quality control

- Reporting to the Head of Project Management and or Development Director on the progress and performance of the project

£65,000 - £85,000 per annum dependent on experience

Discretionary annual bonus & LTIP participation
