We are looking for an experienced Customer Accounts Advisor to join a fast paced Customer Services team for one of the largest housing associations in London and the South of England. The Customer Accounts Advisor will be responsible for collecting and recovering income / debt, so we are seeking individuals who possess confidence and empathy when talking to customers about money.
The successful applicant to the role of Customer Accounts Advisor will have proven experience in a similar role and will be able to provide a customer focused approach to collect and recover income so arrears are kept to a minimum. Key responsibilities within the role will include:
- Providing a customer focused approach to collecting and recovering rental income so arrears are kept to a minimum
- Proactively speaking to a diverse customer group in relation to the status of their rent accounts
In this role, you will work with a diverse customer group and must be able to pro-actively communicate and be able to use both negotiation and persuasion skills to engage with all customers. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, committed and confident in addition to:
- Being able to work using your own initiative and make decisions
- Being focused and driven to achieve the best outcome for the customer as well as the association
