Customer Relationship Manager (Build to Rent)

Salary £32000 - £37000 per annum + Bonus Sector Property Management

Deverell Smith are working with customer focussed Build to Rent company who pride themselves on the amenities and buildings they offer. They are looking for a Customer Relationship Manager with a record of building relationships and managing properties.

As Customer Relationship Manager your duties include

  • Creating and maintaining good customer relationships through regular interaction and communication
  • Welcoming and registering new customers on the IT system
  • Contacting customers before and after renting with the aim to match them with properties suitable for their needs
  • Arranging any needed maintenance work for customers, dealing with issues and formulating action plans until a resolution is found
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the property
  • Internal and external inspections of the property, making sure the communal areas are clean, safe and well maintained
  • Manage the lettings and offers process from start to finish (: arranging and attending viewings and appointments, handing offers and confirming where necessary, setting up new tenancies and sending all the relevant property information)
  • Be in line with all the relevant Health and Safety regulations for the property
  • Effectively manage the budget for the property including repairs budgeting, recharging customers where necessary and invoicing any contractors used
  • Work within the Management team to present running reports and use in conjunction with any projects and planning processes
  • Adhere to the Company Values and highest standards, acting as an Ambassador for the company

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Property Management experience within a Customer-focussed environment
  • Clear communication skills, verbally and written, to be able to address customer needs
  • Willingness to embrace the Company Values
  • Able to show and understanding of and commitment to good customer care, property services and managing landlord and customer relationships
  • Proactive nature to problem solving with emphasis on fast and practical solutions
  • Self-motivated, high energy and enthusiasm with demonstrated experience of taking responsibility for own actions and the development of opportunities
