We are delighted to have been exclusively retained by one of the world's leading developers who have an outstanding track record of international development projects across the globe.
Following a major UK acquisition, they are now in a position to appoint a director of development for the first part of this major regeneration scheme to help build over one million sq. ft. of commercial units, and just under 3,000 residential. You will form part of an integral team responsible for taking the master-plan from its outline stage, pushing it towards construction delivery, sales and asset management.
You'll work closely with 3 other senior directors forming the operational team including the director of planning, director of construction and director of property. Whilst you won't be solely responsible for the design and planning, and construction delivery of the scheme, you must have a good appreciation of these areas in order to be considered for the development director position.
As a proven development director, you should have previous experience of;
Delivering a large number of residential units on mixed use developments
Demonstrative experience with local authorities, ensuring that all third parties are working collaboratively.
In depth knowledge of pre- construction, design and planning phases of developments.
Strong professional property related degree and ideally have a qualification such as MRICS, RIBA, RITPI or similar.
Demonstrate experience of large scale developments for a large client side developer.
Have a thorough knowledge of the planning system.
Over ten years of senior level experience
Strong appreciation of infrastructure, transport, education and utilities - given the development will incorporate new schools, roads and rail links.
This will be a hugely significant development whereby you be instrumental in helping to create a major new community where people will live, learn, work and build a future.
