A prestigious family focused firm based close to Stratford upon Avon are seeking a talented and high competent Development Surveyor to join their expanding team.
Development Surveyor (3-5 years PQE)
The ideal candidate will join the Development Consultancy team supporting the Managing Director/Head of Agency (Commercial and/or Residential) providing Real Estate Advice on behalf of a range of residential and commercial developer clients. Your caseload will be a mixture of professional, project management, agency and development instructions. We are a multi-disciplinary firm with multi-disciplinary and varied demands upon our Consultants.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Your key agenda will be to support the Land and Development Team 
  • Your particular focus will be supporting the supply and delivery of Residential and commercial Land for our client through disposals and acquisitions, helping to support strategic property advice to developers and investors.
  • Compiling and delivering marketing strategies for new and surplus properties and clients.
  • Negotiations for property disposals and acquisitions
  • Provide Marketing Strategy and Reports highlighting latest and market trends and development.  Support Land Bulletin for marketing purposes.
  • Maintaining a pricing matrix database to ensure data is current and accurate
  • Experience in preparing development viability assessments
  • Basic planning knowledge for immediate and strategic planning opportunities
  • Supporting in a variety of professional areas including lease advisory, project management and valuations.
  • Supporting bid teams with new business tenders
  • Providing support in the management of procurement processes for development partnerships and agreements
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Be able to work collaboratively and effectively with a wide variety of consultants and service providers
  • MRICS 
  • Development appraisal skills
  • Excellent team player
  • General Practice/Residential Agency or Project Management background
  • Negotiations Skills
  • Self Starter
  • Effective Business Development skills
  • Proven fee track record
