A leading property firm are looking for a Sales Negotiator for a Residential Development in Bath.
Responsibilities of the role:
- To liaise with the companies service lines in order to provide an all-round service to clients
- To refer new business across all service lines
- To achieve/exceed all sales targets
- To ensure own adherence to  Best Practice policies and procedures
- To ensure adherence to on-site Health & Safety requirements
- To ensure adherence to any procedures relating to PMA & Money Laundering
- To action any concerns arising with regard to the above immediately
- To maintain an excellent level of market awareness and build market intelligence
- To actively manage existing buyers/contacts and convert to sales for the core market New Home schemes
- To actively generate new buyers/ business/ contacts through networking and any other means
- To use the Companies database (RPS) to record applicants and manage sales
- Negotiate sales through to exchange of contracts
- To assist with and attend launches/ events where required (which will involve occasional weekend or evening working)
- To potentially run small instructions and actively manage the client from marketing through to sales delivery
- Focus on development databases and cross-sell where possible
- To build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality and trust with clients and sales teams at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership
- Communicate fully with all concerned to ensure that sales are managed in an efficient and professional manner.
- Supervise the efficient administration of all procedures
- Research data accurately and present this information in writing to a high professional standard
- Be responsible for reservation forms and organising deposit payments
Skills required for the role:
- Highly motivated
individual with a proven track record of reaching/exceeding targets
- Degree educated
- A sound business knowledge and keen awareness of the competition is essential, as is knowledge of markets within the area.
- IT - web/email literate (to include Word, Excel, Outlook and buyer handling software)
- Ability to motivate, direct, coach and delegate to subordinates
- Demonstrable sales and negotiation skills
- Literate and numerate
- Confident and eloquent communication skills
- Drive and enthusiasm
- Ability to work as part of a team
The ideal candidate for the role will have at least 2 years in a residential agency, preferably with some New Home sales experience (not essential as training will be given).
