Project Manager - Luxury development

The job would suit somebody with a demonstrated interest in property in either surveying, architecture, construction or project management. They must have experience of working on property projects in France, and speak fluent French and be prepared to travel to and from France, with possible prolonged stays over there.

The job will involve:

  • Working within a team as the client representative team for the finishing stages of a highly prestigious development in Central London. The property is Grade II*, 25,000 sqft.

  • Assisting with the development of the professional team and conceptual brief for a significant hotel development in France.

  • Working within a small in house team: Finance Director & Senior Property Consultant, Project co-ordinator (construction), Project Co-ordinator (interior design).

  • Liaising with Senior Management to ensure the smooth running of the projects.

  • To fully understand the project brief and have a full oversight of the projects.

  • Understanding the professional team appointments.

  • Reviewing tender documentation to ensure in line with project requirements.

  • Understanding the budget and programme timetable and working closely with the external project management team to assist in achieving client led goals.

  • Attending property meetings, taking detailed notes and formulating action plans/timetables.

  • Coordinating with the external professional team including: project management, m & e engineers, architects, interior designers, structural engineers.

  • Production of minutes & formulation of reports.

  • Meeting follow up to ensure action points are being carried out.

  • Attend site meetings once the construction commences and report back to the in house team.

  • A proactive role which will include dealing with occasionally challenging situations.

  • Diary management.

  • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively.

  • Filing and general administration duties including monthly payment drawdowns.

  • Working with the team with project related tasks.

The candidate must be:

  • Well spoken

  • Well presented

  • Highly organised and efficient

  • Confident and able to deal with people including senior management, and VIPs

  • Able to work alone

  • Able to work as part of a team

  • Lots of common sense and a proactive approach

  • Use of initiative & self-motivated

  • Able to follow instructions

Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 plus benefits and bonus
