Are you looking for your first role in Town Planning having gained some experience, or a few months under the belt but the firm isn't for you? I have been asked to find the next rising star for my client based in Central London.
A top national design practice are looking to bring in a new team member to join their growing Planning team. The company have an exceptional reputation in large residential and strategic land, as well as working with major players within the commercial and retail markets, and have work flying through the door. The planning team are keen to find someone to join them who is ready to take on a challenge to learn quickly, be in front of clients after a short amount of time but have the support around them that they will need in this dynamic role.
You need not have much experience if any, but up to 6 months would be ideal, or having strong academics will show you have the ability to grasp tasks and adapt. The work will mostly be within the residential and strategic land sectors, although you will get to work on a variety as things are always diversifying within the work-stream. The role will be to support both elements within land and identifying sites as well as the planning team.
My client is keen for someone to join as soon as possible and interview in the next couple of weeks, so if you are awaiting graduation this September, unfortunately this role will not be for you, but do get in touch towards the end of your course. For the right person - this consultancy will even consider sponsoring a Masters course for a recent Bachelors Graduate.
The role will be suited to someone who can learn on the job, is confident once given a task and relevant guidance and will need to be a trusted pair of hands as things progress as you will be running your own small projects and assisting on larger ones within a short timeframe.
Sound like you? Please apply here, or give me (Kate) a call on 0203 056 6282 at any time. My client is looking to get the right person on board ASAP so please do contact me as soon as you can.
(I will be meeting all candidates for this role within the next two weeks - so if you're able to state availability to meet at our Cannon St office, I can respond quickly)
If you do not hear anything back within one week, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion, but I will retain your details for future roles.
