We are looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join one of the largest housing associations in southern England, managing a patch in Berkshire. The Housing Services Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing customer relationships and providing innovative mixed tenure landlord services across a defined patch, taking true ownership to deliver an excellent service to all customers.
The successful applicant to the role of Housing Services Officer will have proven experience in a similar role and will be able to deliver excellent customer service and create innovate resolutions to improve service delivery. We are seeking applications from candidates who have successfully managed a dispersed patch of properties including letting empty homes, rent arrears management, setting service charges, resolving anti-social behaviour and managing casework, undertaking estate inspections and delivering on all agreed actions.
Key responsibilities within the role will include:
- Ensure efficient tenancy and leasehold management
- Letting empty homes
- Post inspections and estate inspections
- Income collection
- Improve customer satisfaction
In this role, you must be able to pro-actively communicate with customers and be able to manage expectations. The ideal candidate will be committed to putting the customer first and be able to proactively identify concerns on their patch to prevent complaints and find ways to remedy issues. You will be able to demonstrate a track record at management level and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver successful communities and customer service. Due to the dispersed location of properties within this patch, the candidate must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
