Our client is a pioneering house builder and regeneration company with a social purpose. They are actively building affordable homes across the country and are seeking an experienced Interim Development Manager to join their team in the North West while they recruit permanently.
As a well-established Development Manager, your role will be identifying new affordable development opportunities, negotiating grant funding for affordable / mixed tenure developments and managing schemes through all stages from start to finish.
We are seeking applications from credible Development Managers ideally with housing association / local government experience, although consideration will be given to individuals from private sector organisations who have had exposure to affordable housing development. The successful applicant to this post will possess the following:
- Strong background in managing multiple projects at different stages of the development lifecycle
- Diverse skillset including project management, planning, development and commercial acumen
- Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority
- Valid UK driving license and be prepared to travel within a role which covers the North of England
We are seeking applications from competent cradle-to-grave Development Managers who are available to start a new interim assignment within 1-2 weeks notice. Our client is offering a very competitive day rate and can interview at short notice.
