We are working with one of the largest housing providers in London and the South to find a Land & New Business Manager to join their London-based team on a 3-6 month contract basis. This is a great opportunity for a proven deal-maker to support the organisation to achieve their ambitious development target of delivering more than 1000 new homes per year over the next 5 years.
The Land & New Business Manager will be a strong communicator with great interpersonal skills and an established network of contacts in London and the surrounding southern counties. You will work with landowners, developers and others to acquire sites and procure new developments in partnership, and will possess the following:
- Experience of securing mixed-tenure sites for residential development
- An impressive deal sheet which illustrates that you have successfully secured land-led or section 106 deals
- Knowledge of the affordable housing market, ideally with experience gained for an RP or local authority (private developer experience will also be considered)
- The ability to network and engage with a range of stakeholders and maintain professional relationships which will contribute to the success of the land and new business function
We are looking for a hard-working individual who is able to hit the ground running, somebody who has great knowledge of the London/South market and who is able to demonstrate a "can do" attitude - and back this up with results!
