INVENTORY CLERK - COLCHESTER, ESSEX
£18,000-£19,000 BASIC SALARY WITH OTE OF £22,000-£23,000
We are currently looking for an experienced Inventory Clerk to join our client’s Colchester office. The selected candidate will possess a strong background in carrying out Inventories to a superb standard in a Lettings environment role. This role would suit those who currently work in Lettings and are looking to get their weekends back!
Our client, Essex’s leading independent Estate Agent, are on the hunt for an experienced Inventory Clerk to join their friendly team based in the historic town of Colchester! Our client has been established for over 50 years and have grown to a branch network of 15 offices across Essex – 11 of which are Market-Leaders in the town that they operate in! The business has had record breaking success year-on-year and continue to sell and let Essex’s most superb properties by delivering a high level of customer-service to its customers.
·Preparing detailed Inventories & Condition Reports
·Detailing of properties internally and externally in terms of condition, decor and contents
·Produce written summaries on property condition and photographic back-up
·Conduct check-ins and check-out inspections
·Handle potential disputes between landlords and tenants
·Negotiate acceptable outcomes/settlements
·Keeping up to date of latest laws and regulations surrounding Lettings
·Basic salary of up to £19,000 for the appropriate candidate, including an uncapped OTE of £21,000
·28 days paid holidays, including Bank Holidays

Requirements from the candidate:
·MUST possess at least 1 years’ experience in carrying out Inventories
·MUST have a Full UK Driving License and your own car
·MUST live locally to Colchester and ideally have local market-knowledge
·MUST possess superb customer-service skills both face-to-face and over the phone
·MUST have excellent written English
·MUST be able to work independently and as part of a bigger team.
·MUST be I.T literate and be able to use modern software
·Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
