Deverell Smith have been asked by a high-end niche London developer to find their new Land specialist. This role will be partly Land Buying, and partly Land Manager - and as a small and successful team, the key will be for their new hire to understand the planning and development implications for sites, and whether it be longer term or shorter term profit projections, to not just be a "deal maker".
With a lean and skilled team of specialists, you will join the Land Director who is also a strategic team leader, and keen to find someone to help find new sites within the M25 - of varying scales and values, to take through development, and pass onto construction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Site searching and identifying land opportunities
- Negotiating contracts and dealing with due diligence
- Building relationships with landowners, agents and other stakeholders to seek on and off-market opportunities
