The Company

With offices across the North East, our clients are an established independent Property Group working across both Residential Sales and Lettings across the region.

They have an outstanding reputation in the region and have a highly experienced and dedicated team already in place.

The Role

We are now looking to recruit a Lettings Operations Manager to take the helm and drive business in the Lettings department forward.

This fast paced, exciting and ever evolving role involves:

•Managing a team of experienced lettings professionals, including Negotiators and Property Managers. 
•Working towards strict daily, weekly and monthly targets, along with agreed KPI’s, ensuring your department is profitable.
•Motivating and coaching your team, in addition to regular one to one appraisals and regular training.
•Dealing with any enquiries from Landlords and Tenants, resolving any problems before they arise.
•Promoting the company’s additional products, such as Financial Services and ensuring your team are aware of these.
•Keeping a close eye on the local market, noticing any changes and recognising opportunities.
•Being part of an enthusiastic and driven team, working towards common goals.
•Plan and carry out sales/promotional activities to agreed budgets and timescales.
•Develop new ideas and create offers for clients. 
•Liaise with Residential Sales team to optimise opportunities.
•Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
•Maintain and report on equipment / software advances.
•Liaise and attend meetings with Directors and colleagues. 

The Person

An already proven Residential Lettings professional, with a clear passion for property and ideally experienced working in a varied marketplace, you will be driven to succeed and be a real team player.

You must have:

•Prior Residential Lettings experience with an excellent understanding of the industry.
•Excellent people skills, with the ability to motivate, train and encourage.
•Strong negotiation skills.
•A good understanding of the local lettings market.
•A high level of commercial awareness.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
•A keen eye for detail.
•Confident and able to work alone, as well as be part of a team.
•Able to work to targets. 
•A willingness to go the extra mile.
•NAEA, NFOPP or ARLA would be an advantage.
•A full UK driving license.
