Marketing Strategist - Central London Marketing Agency

My client is an established marketing agency, based in Central London, and operating in the Real Estate industry. They work for a mix of property clients, including renowned mixed-use developers and PRS/BTR clients with a main focus on creating spaces and places that appeal to audiences and improve how they feel. Founded in 2014, the agency has grown from strength to strength, and their impending expansion is due to taking on some exciting new instructions.

The role of Marketing Strategist will require you to have different viewpoints to marketing - the thinking and the doing. You will work alongside the Marketing Project Manager to ensure that all outbound marketing is to an exceptionally high standard, and that the client's vision is at the focal point of everything that is being delivered. This role will report in to the Head of Strategy, and you will manage your own relationships with clients, as well as assist them on any instructions. Your vision will always remain on the strategy behind the delivery in order to maintain sound client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery

  • Where appointed, manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring a strong client service is delivered with work completed on time and excellent client communication throughout. This will require you to lead on client meetings when required
  • Delivery of tactical plans across projects
  • Manage relationships with other suppliers and oversee external production
  • Brief internal teams and external suppliers on project strategies, write briefs and hold pitches
  • Manage budgets for individual projects and report back on return and profitability

Strategy

  • Work with the internal research team to write narrative of research findings to report in strategy documents
  • Create and update a strategy report for each project/client
  • Lead the project through a process of strategic thinking, where appointed as Project Lead
  • Create client presentations, and in some cases present these to clients in meetings
  • Develop and run client workshops

New Business

  • Lead on new business presentations or lead the creation of pitches for the Head of Strategy or Founder
  • Work with senior members of the team to determine fee proposals
  • Build your own network by attending events and put a plan together for new business events
  • Ensure you are always up to date with changes in the market, or new developments coming to fruition

General

  • Support the wider team in any general administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the office
  • Manage and update the company database
  • Managed project budgets and invoicing from clients and suppliers. Raise PO numbers where necessary

Key Candidate Requirements:

  • Essential - experience in the Real Estate industry, preferably for a developer
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Sound experience in strategy development for marketing
  • A team player than is happy to help our colleagues where necessary
  • A creative and innovative thinker who is confident to put their own ideas forward
  • A self-starter who is able to get things done on time and to a high standard
  • A very positive attitude, highly motivated and a high level of self-awareness
  • An appreciation that this is for a start-up with a small business culture, and the ability to be adaptable to this
