New Business Consultant – Property Technology
Our client, a fast growing and exciting property technology (Prop Tech) and data insight business requires an experienced New Business Consultant / Business Development Manager based in their state of the art office in South Central London.
The ideal candidate will be required to grow the customer base by prospecting for new business and generating additional revenues from products & services across a range of London based house builders. The New Business Consultant will achieve identified sales targets through proactive activity across the prospect and customer base.
You will be well practiced in developing long term business relationships with house builders and media agencies within a defined territory to deliver regular and effective account management meetings and increase revenues through a multi-product portfolio.
Other duties include responding to incoming customer calls & queries, minimising cancellations and maintaining accurate and up to date records through Salesforce.
You will need the ability to handle complex and sometimes challenging negotiations and achieving winning outcomes for all parties. Be positive in attitude and communication, with a can-do approach. Be able to work autonomously and tenaciously to uncover and maximise every single sales lead to a satisfactory conclusion.
The skills required for this NEW BUSINESS CONSULTANT / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER role will include:
- Previous experience in an account management / business development role
- Experience of working in a call centre environment and working to set KPI’s
- Experience in, exposure to or an understanding of the UK Property and online advertising industries
- Results focused
- Enthusiastic and energetic
- Approachable with a good telephone manner
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships with existing and new clients
- High level of customer service skills
- Self-motivated and able to prioritise
