Deverell Smith are working exclusively with a leading Artificial grass supplier and installer to find a Operations Director who can help the company move into the next phase of growth. After a number of successful years working with schools, commercial and residential properties, race courses and play areas, they are now ready to grow the company and improve on their multi million pound turn over.
The Operations Director must have extensive construction and civil experience to enable them to understand the requirements of surfacing within restricted areas, on a budget and tight time lines, like those given by education bodies. With a strong team of ground workers and surveyors all over the UK, they have the national reach to supply and install artificial artificial grass, fencing, security and more to their clients, ensuring the the highest quality of work and service at all times.
Operations Director requirements:
Strong construction degree
Exposure to civil contracts and proven delivery experience
Ability to win new work and develop business
Comfortable travelling across the UK and staying away from home, when required
Strong man management skills
Experience working for a ground working contractor is desirable
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Appreciation of enabling and minor works packages
Desire to grow a team and manage the existing work force
