What is the ‘Partner Agent’ model?
This is an exciting opportunity to be your own boss and run your own business with the support of a recognised, professional brand. Our client provide all the back office support, administration, marketing etc, leaving the Partner Agent to focus on the key earning areas of listing and selling properties. This model provides a low cost and low risk entry to a business, which provides excellent financial rewards and the lifestyle that most people dream about.
How does it work?
Our client have changed their business model and moved away from the traditional UK estate agency model of employing staff and moved towards the model used in most other parts of the world including USA, Australia & South Africa, where self employed ‘Partner Agents’ work under a company brand and run their own business.
Why don’t I just open my own estate agency business?
Setting up a business and opening an office is expensive, time consuming and risky. Many good estate agents have opened their own business, only to close down with hefty losses. The business owner has to deal with advertising, marketing, recruitment, ordering supplies, invoices, wages, sales calls, complaints, accounts etc. Running a business is a full time job and doesn’t leave much time for listing and selling homes. Even if the business owner does manage to generate income, much, if not all the income can disappear covering costs, giving little or no profit, or worse still losses. Our model means all the business issues are taken care of, leaving the Partner Agent to focus totally on the income producing activities. With minimal costs, most of the income is profit.
What are my set up costs?
Many franchises would charge over £10,000 for a business opportunity like this. We do NOT charge anything upfront to become a Partner Agent. We do ask for a contribution of £125+vat for your personalised for sale signs.
You will earn 50% of the fee for any properties listed and sold by you. Based on a fee of £3,000 you would earn £1,500. Assuming you listed and sold just one property a week (50 a year) you would earn £75,000 per year. However if your average fee was £4,000 and you listed and sold two properties per week (100 a year) you would earn £200,000 per year.
We work with Mortgage Advice Bureau who pay us 25% of the case value.
On a £2,000 case we would be paid £500 and 50% would go to our Partner Agent (£250). Just 4 completed mortgage cases per month would generate £1,000 which is an additional income of £12,000 per year.
You will earn 50% of the referral commission. Based on the £300 paid by one of our recommend conveyancers, you would earn £150 per transaction. If a client is buying and selling (two transactions) you will earn £300. Based on 50 clients using our recommended conveyancer for buying and selling, you would earn an extra £15,000 per year.
Like any business there are costs, however our aim is to keep these to a minimum. The only charge we make is a nominal monthly ‘license fee’ which is just a small contribution to our costs. We take care of all the major costs such as head office costs, admin support, Rightmove, marketing material, web site, software, for sale sign movements etc.
We do encourage Associates to invest in their business and promote themselves. This can be done through personalised marketing material and social media etc.
Would you be suitable?
This is business model is not suitable for everyone.
We are looking for ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals (or couples) who are hardworking, self- motivated and have a strong desire to be successful. They must have a friendly and very outgoing personality and have excellent social and interpersonal skills. They must also be confident, keen to learn and interested in personal and professional development. A passion for property and the ability to deliver the highest levels of customer service are also essential.
The ideal candidates must have a positive attitude be proactive and be solution focused. Experience in estate agency is not required as full training is provided. It is also highly desirable that Partner Agents live in the area that they will cover.
If you are passionate about customer care, have a real desire to be in the property industry and have a genuine need to earn a substantial income, then contact
