Planning Policy Manager position for an NSIP
I am currently looking for a Planning Policy Manager looking to be part of a major national scheme in London. You will be joining the Consents team to help protect and promote the clients current and future interests. You will be working as part of a wider team to establish and maintain a clear understanding of current planning policies and strategies, to engage with policy makers, partners, and stakeholders.
Maintaining relationships with key planning and policy makers
Monitoring the progress of the NPS and ensure others are briefed on key milestones and risks
Reviewing relevant planning and policy consultations
Working constructively with local authorities and external stakeholders to build an open and transparent understanding
Skills and Experience:
5-15 years industry experience
Ideally RTPI Chartered, however those working towards it will be considered
Proven track record of managing planning or development policy at a variety of levels
A history of delivering infrastructure/development projects, preferably through the DCO process (although significant policy experience not in this sector will be considered)
Experience managing specialist advisors and consultants
