Project Quantity Surveyor
Based in London and reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day commercial functions on either a single project(s) or for key elements on larger projects with the minimum of supervision.
Our client provide Construction Management, Project Management, Development Management and Cost Management for clients and on their own projects.
The Quantity Surveyor will be part of the commercial management team within the Construction Management team and shall be based on site in one of our project offices, in one of our offices or spending your time between these locations to suit the role.
Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager you will be responsible, in full or in part, for the following:-
Preparation of accurate tender documents for trade packages
Tender reconciliations and recommendations
Preparation of contract documentation
Trade contractor management including reviewing applications for payment, costing variations, payment recommendations.
Cost reporting and forecasting for inclusion in project cost report
Support the delivery team in drafting contract notices
Chairing commercial meetings and minutes
Project administration and maintaining accurate, appropriate records
3-5 years' relevant industry experience
Experience of major construction project preferred (£25M plus)
Professional membership of RICS or CIOB are preferred or on route to membership
Full UK driving licence required
