Our client is one of the leading Property Services in the UK. They have several offices throughout the area and have a broad range of expertise including residential sales, lettings, property management and facilities management.
They are now looking to recruit an Evaluations Manager within their Estate Management team for the private rental division. (PRS).
Purpose of the role:
Working as part of the PRS & Estate Management team to support the client throughout the process from drawing board stage to handover. To support the company PRS ambition, taking key responsibility for assessing PRS opportunities through site evaluations and to generate new PRS management opportunities into the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To evaluate new PRS development sites, utilising previous experience of the sales and letting market and the factors affecting ‘letability’.
To deputise for the Managing Director when required.
To provide insight into valuations office data utilising property comparables and other analysis tools.
To generate new PRS management business fundamentally from developers and maintaining client liaison throughout the process to ensure the pipeline of new business is brought into management.
o Chasing leads
o Securing appointments
o Preparation and submission of tenders
o Keeping up to date with competitors
o Assist with the development of presentations and proposals
o Conducting market research, competitor and customer analysis
o Analysing data to identify new business opportunities
o Cultivating new business relationships.
Maintain effective internal relationships with:-
o Business development managers
o Finance department
Maintain effective external relationships with:-
o Sales and technical directors
o Local planning authority
The ideal person will come from a surveying and/or lettings background and have experience of assessing sites for development. You must be a confident decision maker who can work well under pressure.
