PROPERTY MANAGER - Barking - £30,000 - £35,000
Negotiable depending on experience/qualifications
An exciting opportunity to join an independent and well established property management firm of based in Barking, Essex which offers property management.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role with high levels of autonomy. Working closely alongside the Managing Director of the firm the successful candidate will deliver, property management and professional property services mainly residential block property.
This role would suit a an individual with a proven track record working within the property management industry & letting industry.
The main tasks include but are in no way limited to:
·Manage a portfolio of property sites mainly residential
·Attending meetings with clients regarding property management
·Take calls from property occupiers regarding property repairs and maintenance and action accordingly.
·Oversee repairs and maintenance of flats and blocks by producing works orders and complying with CDM regulations where necessary
·Complete routine inspections and report as required
·Ensure legislation compliance of all managed properties including but not limited to health and safety, fire regulations, fire risk assessment, EPC, Electric Tests, Gas Inspections, Landlord Licences, The regulation Act etc.
·Assist in the arrangement of property insurance
·Serve relevant notices as required namely but not limited Sections 8 and Sections 21.
·Keep accurate property records.
·Have knowledge & experience with dealing with DSS tenants.
The ideal candidate will:
·Have experience working in a property lettings environment –experience in property management specifically would be a distinct advantage.
·Hold a Full Driving licence
·Have excellent organisation skills, communication skills, common sense and attention to detail, along with computer skills.
·Deliver high quality customer service
·Be a good negotiator when dealing with tenants and repair personal.
·As in most SME environments a ‘hands on’ and flexible approach to work is essential.
·ARLA Qualification essential
Monday to Friday 10 am to 6pm working hours (40 hours per week)
