Property Manager - West End

Specialising in new developments, my client is looking for a hands on and proactive property manager to manage an investment portfolio of either individual landlords, or investment banks residential portfolios. You will be involved in the full process, from handover and key collection on behalf of clients upon legal completion, snagging and defect management, to showing the successful tenants home demonstrations of their new property. From here you will provide a comprehensive management service through their tenancy.


New Development Accountability's (when applicable)

  • To liaise with the Customer Care Team and appropriate office to ensure all new development apartments are ready for move-in by overseeing handovers, visual inspections and ensuring any snagging is documented, reported to developers and chased to completion
  • To walk through property/block with developer/building manager
  • To ensure all overseas landlords queries are resolved in a timely manner
  • To develop, nurture and maintain excellent relationships with developers

Property Management

  • Pre and post tenancy works
  • Routine and emergency maintenance during tenancies
  • Management of health and safety where applicable
  • Property visits twice a year on each property and follow up on any works or requirements that are raised in a timely manner
  • Overseeing the scheduling of check-out appointments when due and managing disbursement of deposits and dilapidation's claims
  • Timely payment of all relevant invoices and obtaining of funds from clients where necessary

Professional experience and personal skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience of excellent client management

Particular Aptitudes/Skills Required

  • ARLA qualified
  • The ideal candidate will be able to work well within a team and on their own
  • The ability to communicate with developers, landlords, tenants and staff in a confident manner
  • The ability to stay calm and efficiently manage work load
  • To keep up-to-date with legislation changes
