One of the countires leading investment groups with a new House Builder arm are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with over five years residential development experience to join their new team and help deliver properties across two sites in West London.
The company have a strong focus on shifting the mentality of new homes compared to old homes and ensure that the build quality is second to none and that the customer experience is at the forefront of all that they do, along with innovation and cost. The Quantity Surveyor must have the same appetite for quality and do the best to deliver schemes on time and budget.
Report directly into the commercial Director
Prepare build cost estimates based on accurate cost libraries and assumptions, reflective to site specific details.
Ensure that all feasibility inputs are realistic and approved by the relevant department heads prior to issuing cost plans and settling prelim assumptions
Prepare and issue Pre Commencement appraisals and locking of the development budget for the duration of the project
Check all civil and structural engineering drawings prior to issue of subcontractors packages
Responsible for issuing tender documents, subsequent examination and preparing a detailed tender analysis and recommendation for each tendered by subcontractor
Build and Maintain strong working relationships with Project, Technical and Construction teams to ensure the end goal is reached
Set up robust fee budgets / monitoring process and production of accurate, up to date expenditure figures for monthly Cost Value Reconciliation meetings
