A public sector organisation based in Central London are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Maintenance and Asset Management Team. The team delivers a wide range within property such as, building design, management, maintaining, acquiring and selling existing buildings. Their portfolio includes the likes of; offices, libraries, care homes, housing and other buildings within the public realm.
Role and Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:
Working alongside the other members of the team the Quantity Surveyor will take commercial and financial responsibility on delivering capital projects, most of which using NEC and JCT forms of contract.
General duties will include the likes of; budgetary & financial advice, valuations & agreeing final accounts, financial reporting, estimating, producing schedule of works, value engineering and some forensic analysis & auditing.
- Quantity Surveying related degree.
- MRICS or MCIOB, ideally however not essential.
- 5+ years' experience within the built environment
Salary: £40-50,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
