Regional Operations Manager - Midlands.

My client is one of the areas most forward thinking and dynamic property companies with several offices throughout the region.

They are now looking for a Regional Operations Manager based in The Midlands.

The Role:

To be responsible for delivery of a first class residential property management service to  clients and customers in order to create places  residents are proud to live, investors are proud to own and the client is proud to manage. 

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of a team of Relationship Managers and the development of trusted client relationships. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for all staff management activities (including recruitment & selection and performance management through a system of appraisals) relating to the team, in accordance with the companies  policies and procedures
·Set and maintain clear standards and performance criteria across the team, in line with the companies overall business objectives and behavioral frameworks.
·Coach and mentor staff through a system of regular scheduled team and individual review meetings, as well as accompanied site visits and evening meetings when required. Provide positive & targeted written feedback following all such accompanied visits.
·Review site inspection reports with all property managers on a monthly basis, and ensure that these are kept fully up to date at all times.
·Ensure that the team is kept fully up to date with the latest changes in legislation, technical knowledge and best practice including (but not restricted to) attendance at regional briefings and webinars.

The ideal person will come from a strong Residential Lettings  / Property Management background with extensive people  management experience. You must have excellent communication skills - both written and spoken, be process driven with attention to detail and a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer service and motivate others to do likewise.
