A leading Chartered Surveying consultancy who specialise in neighbourly matters are looking for a Rights of Lights Surveyor to join their team to provide expert advice on some of the most recognised developments in the UK.
The main outlines of the Rights of Lights Surveyor role will entail preparing reports, providing evidence for both planned applications and appeals, give advice and risk management of issues that may affect the progress of the projects and advise clients on the implications to their project in respect to daylight, sunlight and common law.
The ideal Rights of Light Surveyor will:
- Be able to provide advice to both residential and commercial clients.
- Carry out site inspections and produce reports
- Experience of party wall agreements and neighbourly matters
- Evaluate legal documents and deeds to assess their relevance to the development
- Understand building regulations and elevations
The senior rights of light surveyor salary will be between £40,000 - £55,000 + package
