Sales and Marketing Executive - Operations Focused

Deverell Smith are working with an award winning property company who pride themselves on building new homes in various locations across London.

Our client is seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive who will be heavily involved in the sales and marketing function across the whole business. This person will be reporting directly into the Sales and Marketing Director and working closely with the wider management team. They will be heavily involved in strategy and have the responsibility of managing all financial, KPI and performance related data. This person will then need to analyse and assess all data to help establish and implement procedures to ensure the best results are achieved.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Organise and Manage the legal set up of all new homes sites ahead of launch, attend all launches and assist with any sales and marketing necessary
  • Attending meetings such as project sales meetings when the sales director is unavailable
  • Accompany the sales and marketing director and other senior managers at important meetings
  • Monitor and record performance for all sales teams and individual consultants
  • Organise all consultants commission payments
  • Oversee the exchange deadline for all plots and keep sales staff up to date on key information needed to ensure they do not miss the 28 day time limit
  • Manage and check all audit information
  • Act as a point of contact for various members of staff to ensure that all information about all schemes is kept up to date and accessible to whoever may need it
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Director, assisting with various ad hoc tasks
  • Arrange the Sales and Marketing Director's overseas trips, including booking hotels/flights and collaborate all marketing needed
  • Monitor and track performance of the SM01 budget on a monthly basis
  • Organise all internal sales and marketing events

The ideal candidate must have the following attributes:

  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • Previous experience working for a house builder or developer in a target driven environment
  • Ability to prioritise workload to ensure tasks are completed on time where urgent
  • Excellent IT skills, inclusive of Excel
  • Experience of managing and organising events
  • Thorough understanding of Understanding of the legal process for setting up private and shared ownership residential schemes for private and shared ownership residential developments
  • Good understanding of the progression process for both private and shared ownership developments
  • Previous experience using a CRM system (ideally Microsoft Dynamics) and other IT programmes
