A large mixed use developer with over £21bn worth of assets world wide are developing three large mixed use schemes in Central London and require a senior Project Manager to help deliver them.
The company are based in London, own and operate hotels, residential, commercial and retail property across Asia and Europe and have invested huge amounts into acquiring and now building three large mixed use schemes in Central London
Senior Project Manager requirements:
Detailed knowledge of the construction industry within the UK market
- Construction related degree, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Architecture.
Project Management experience of large scale development projects from pre-planning to delivery
Experience of managing sub-contractors through to the supply chain
A strategic thinker and solutions driven individual
Completion of required reports.
Project managing the development programme, as directed
Ensuring that the development process meets the Company's business objectives and fits in with other strategic plans of the Company.
Helping to manage development projects through the full development cycle from inception to practical completion.
Monitoring business plans throughout the development and reporting progress back to the Project Director and Managing Director.
Liaising with the Project Director and Project Managers and other teams ensuring that all development works run to the correct programme schedule.
Continually challenge and seek justifications from consultants and their deliverable and contractors for any proposals, including seeking alternative models where possible.
Assisting the Project Directors to obtain authority approvals for relevant development proposal.
Driving technical decision making and problem solving.
Overseeing the tendering process and propose various professional consultants/sub-contractors/contractors on the project.
Overseeing construction process, ensuring design specifications and other contractor's obligations are fulfilled.
Facilitating cross disciplinary liaison to promote investment and sales.
Overseeing the development programme and ensuring project delivery accordingly.
Producing master Project Execution Plans.
Monitoring and managing risk on all projects, ensuring that they are delivered to specification.
Assessing risk and managing risk mitigation from inception of projects to completion.
Creating and maintaining development budgets and ensuring they are managed efficiently and to time.
Ensuing quality standards are met and managing the snagging process.
