Senior Surveyor

Salary £40000 - £50000 per annum + package inc bonus Sector Land and Development

I am seeking interested parties for a position of Senior Surveyor for an award winning Industry leading consultancy looking to gain market share and serve existing clients for development agency across Central London. Interested parties will need to be bright, ambitious and have a proven track record of advising clients in acquisitions and disposals, ideally having purchased industrial assets for redevelopment.

The ideal candidate will have either a developer, financial, consultancy, valuation or agency background and be capable of delivering consultancy work leading in to transactions across residential, commercial and mixed use sectors. The team works on some of the largest most exciting regeneration schemes and development sites across Central London and the UK

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing development consultancy, viability and transactional advice to both private sector and public sector clients.
  • Appointing and working with architects and planners to produce feasibility studies
  • Conducting site search analysis and land assembly
  • Assisting with disposals and acquisitions, i.e. preparing marketing and sales information packs, holding viewings, liaising with bidders and hosting developer interviews
  • Assisting in pitches, helping to win new business and agreeing the scope of instructions
  • Running development appraisals using Argus Developer but also the ability and understanding to model appraisals in excel
  • Keeping up to date a strong awareness of industry news and market developments
  • Point of contact for clients and prepared to maintain regular client contact
  • Liaison with all departments within Savills and external development teams
  • Liaising with other design team professionals e.g. architects, QS, transport consultants, planning advisors

  • Strong verbal, numerical and report writing skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a strategic approach to problem solving
  • Computer literate, particularly Excel modelling skills
