Technical Manager required for an award winning registered provider in the fringes of London and home counties.
They are an extremely friendly and professional bunch of people, who do a fantastic job of maintaining and managing a diverse property portfolio comprising of circa 15,000 homes across London and the South East.
Our client who we have strong track record of placing happy candidates with, are looking for an additional technical manager who has ideally at least five year's experience in residential property development sector to help us ensure that all new homes meet the right standard for design and construction.
A key member of the project and development teams, you will help scrutinise and advise on building contracts, drawings, specifications, cost plans and construction techniques. As well as this, you'll also manage the OJEU procured framework of consultants, update policies relating to construction and ensure all development activity complies with the relevant legislation, Building Regulations and funding conditions.
You will work very closely with internal and external stake-holders, gaining more exposure to development and delivery than your usual technical manager. You'll work with a huge range of property professionals across Land & New Business, Sales & Marketing, Property & Asset Management, Housing Management/Leasehold Management, Architects/Employers Agents/Cost Consultants/Engineers, Party wall/Rights to Light Surveyors/other specialists , Contractors/House builders , HCA/GLA/Local Authorities - never a dull moment!!
You'll ideally be educated to degree level are likely to be a member of a construction-related professional body.
